![]() I always just import everything I shot, then while I'm watching the videos for the first time, I can delete all the shaky or useless/boring files and make note of the epic ones. ![]() ![]() I'm often out in the field or on vacations when I'm filming all this epic footage and need to back it up somewhere secure on a daily (or even hourly) basis, which is why I suggest a durable and portable drive for all that awesome HD footage. I've got a 2TB desktop hard drive for all of my everything, then a 500GB portable hard drive I use specifically for my GoPro videos. I'd highly recommend getting an external hard drive if you don't already have one. I definitely agree with simply using Finder for initial import that way you can organize all your files and easily track down a specific video later on.
